Goals To learn the use of solidworks mechanical design automation software to create parametric models of parts and models with solidworks package program, one of the computer-aided design programs used in the machinery industry, and to make simple technical drawings of these parts and assemblies.
Course Content The important characteristics of an feature-based parametric solid modeler, the differences between the designed and applied elements, how different dimensioning methodologies of the solidworks interface user interface express different design purposes.
