Goals Turkish Youth of the national, human, conscious of their spiritual and cultural values, as a member of one of the Republic of Turkey, founded by the Great Ataturk, know their duties and responsibilities towards the state, believing that the Turkish state with its territory and nation is an indivisible whole is and it's right who takes pride, understand Atatürk's Principles heartily, sincerely adopt them, try to be more beneficial to their country with the power they receive from these beliefs, try to be more beneficial to their country, have a scientific thought, have a scientific attitude, respect and respect human rights, show a critical attitude. To bring young people who can grasp the events of the age, develop a scientific perspective against historical events and aim to reach the level of modern civilizations.
Course Content Revolutions in the political field: Abolition of the caliphate, the declaration of the Republic. Taking steps to establish / construct the new state; Political parties and political events established in the period of Atatürk. Republican People Party, Progressive Republican Party, Free Republican Party. Relations between the government and the opposition. The democratization of political and social life and the problems of transition to a multiparty system in Turkey; Revolutions in the field of law. Realization of reforms that regulate social and economic life; Revolutions in the field of education. Construction of modern and secular educational institutions; Revolutions in the field of culture. The relationship between the establishment of the nation-state and national culture; Revolutions in the field of economy. Reorganization of the economy from the axis of the establishment of the nation-state. strategies and implementation of the new Turkey's economy; Turkish Foreign Policy in the Atatürk Period I (1923-1930). The Treaty of Lausanne (1923), followed by Turkey's relations with the European states; Turkish Foreign Policy in the Atatürk Period II (1930-1938). relations with the European countries associated with totalitarian regimes of Turkey in the Continent. Relations with the Soviet Union and the USA. Reflections of foreign policy on social and intellectual life; Atatürk's Principles - Republicanism, Nationalism, Secularism; Atatürk's Principles - Populism, Statism, Revolutionism and Integrative Principles; Turkish Foreign Policy after Atatürk (1938-1960). Presidency of İsmet İnönü. II. World War II and Turkey: Turkish foreign policy, political life and social life, the effects of the war; II. Features of the change in Turkish political life after World War II: Establishing a multi-party system. 1946 Elections in Turkey. The relationship between the government and the opposition is the establishment of the Democratic Party; The ruling Democratic Party (1950-1960): the transformation in domestic and foreign policy. The End of the Cold War: The collapse of the Soviet Union, the unification of Germany, the disintegration of Yugoslavia and its reflections on Turkish domestic and foreign policies.

By correctly recognizing the internal and external threats to the Republic, secularism and the Turkish nation, he becomes alert to these threats. 7. By knowing his country, country and nation, he has a consciousness that produces policies appropriate to them. 8. Adopts an understanding of life that acts democratically, loves people and respects human rights.
