Goals The purpose of the course is familiarising the students with political and epic-dialetical theatre thoughts.
Course Content The course covers the theories of Piscator's Political Theatre and Brecht's Epic-Dialectical Theatre. These theories are studied in relation to the political forms of thought in their corresponding periods.
Learning Outcomes - Relates theatre with politics.
- Gets the knowledge about Poltical and Epic-Dialectical Theatre thoughts.
- Has the skill in evaluating the practices that belong to the corresponding periods by using the theoretical knowledge he got in the course.
- Has the skill in evaluating the contemporary influences of different theatre thoughts that are studied in the course.
