| Goals | To provide basic information about different types of microorganisms, their cell functions, their genetic structures and about methods of fighting harmful microbes. |

- Students know the cell structure, functioning and proliferation of different groups of microorganisms. - Students gain the ability to grow and test microorganisms in different media and to observe them with a microscope in lab conditions. - Students know the basic functioning of antibiotics and vaccines. |
