Goals After completing this course, student will be able to improve his/her knowledge and skills on basic concepts of taxonomy of seeded plants, the most important families, genus and species for Agriculture in the World and Turkey.
Course Content - Sistematiğin genel ilkeleri, bitkilerin isimlendirilmesi ve sınıflandırmaları. - Çiçekli bitkilerin genel özellikleri ve tanınmasının temel ilkeleri. - Evrim, bitkilerin orijini ve evrimi. - Spermatophyta (Gymnospermae and Angiospermae)’nın özellikleri ve sınıflandırılması, tarım açısından önemli sistematik guruplarda yer alan bitki örneklerinin tanınması.
Learning Outcomes - It will be able to improve the knowledge and skills on basic concepts of taxonomy of seeded plants
- It will be able to improve the knowledge of the most important plant families, genera and species for Agriculture in the World and Turkey
- Classifying plants according to some taxonomic scheme, their form and habitus
