Goals The objective is to render students responsive to human rights by means of enabling social students to comprehend the meaning and importance of human rights in terms of social work occupation.

Learning Outcomes - Learns about the first, second and third generation human rights in the course of historical development,
- Becomes acquainted with basic human rights with respect to the content, subject-matter and subject,
- Learns about dilemmas and problems encountered in case of the violation of human rights,
- Becomes capable of making correlation between human rights conception and basic values of social work occupation,
- Becomes aware of recent debates carried on in the world and Turkey regarding human rights.
