Goals | To inform the student about the environment that prepared the emergence of the history of religions as a science, the differences that distinguish it from other disciplines, and the great religious traditions in the world. |
Course Content | religious studies before the nineteenth century; the emergence of the history of religions as an independent research field; Theoretical developments in research on the history of religions and the effects of changes in the perception of science on them and religions in the world today. |
Learning Outcomes |
- Gaining the ability to collect data, literature review and analysis that will create scientific knowledge in the field of history. - Gaining the ability to contribute in at least one area in the theoretical, methodological and practical context of scientific studies. - It deals with the nature of the beliefs that have taken place in the history of humanity and their relations with each other. |
