Goals To learn the sources of Islamic philosophy, the birth of Islamic thought and foreign thoughts affecting it. To ensure that the philosophical periods of Islamic philosophy, which we define as the birth period and the development period, are recognized together with the philosophers and their schools.
Course Content Examining the formation process of Islamic philosophy depending on a certain chronology.
Learning Outcomes - Recognize the main sources of Islamic philosophy.
- Compares Aristotle and Islamic Peripatetic school.
- Explain the contributions of philosophical schools to Islamic philosophy.
