Goals | Fundamental concepts of tourism and the economic, social, and physical effects of tourism will be examined as a whole. In addition, basic information will be compared with today's current management approaches. |
Course Content | The concepts of tourism and tourists in general, the historical development of tourism and travel and its relationship with other branches of science, types of tourism (traditional tourism, coastal and port tourism, cultural tourism and etc.), the main factors affecting the development of tourism, the concepts of touristic places and touristic regions, Tourism and economy, tourism and socio-cultural environment relations, tourism, and technology, the structure of the Turkish tourism industry, Turkey's main tourist attractions destinations, international and national tourism movements in Turkey |
