Goals The aim of this course is to provide pre-service teachers with the basic mathematics knowledge they should have for teaching primary school mathematics subjects.
Course Content Number systems and hierarchical model, closure properties of number systems with respect to four operations, mathematical modelling, problem solving and construction involving four operations, writing a base 10 number in other bases and converting a number written in other bases to base 10, base 10 divisibility rules for 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 with proofs, least common multiple and greatest common divisor, four operations with fractions and fractions, relation between fractions and ratios, writing numbers in decimal fractions and four operations, pattern , basic geometric shapes, basic space geometry - geometric objects and their expansions, the concept of measure and basic measurement units and the relationship of these subjects with the purpose, principle and primary school mathematics curriculum of mathematics teaching
Learning Outcomes - Have the ability to use Turkish in accordance with the rules, properly and effectively and to communicate well with students.
- Becomes a teacher who adheres to Atatürk's Principles and Revolutions, believes in democracy and the rule of law, is aware of Turkish national, moral, moral and cultural values and shows sensitivity to them in her profession.
- Has pedagogical knowledge about the teaching profession and field, knows and applies contemporary teaching methods and techniques and measurement and evaluation methods.
- Be sensitive to society, environment, people, artistic and cultural activities and sports; educate students who are beneficial to the society, look to the future with confidence and research, question and support lifelong learning

- Reaching information in the field by knowing a foreign language at a basic level in her social and professional life
