Goals The main objective of this course is to teach the basic quality controlling techniques and develop a dear understanding of fundamentals of quality concept, quality insurance, certification and statistical techniques.
Course Content Description of standardization and its purpose, the advantages of standards for consumers and producers. Relationship between standard, standardization and quality control, efficiency-relations of standardization. Types of standards and preparation of standards. Quality concept, fundamental concepts of quality insurance. Sampling techniques (single-double exemplify plans for quality). Many-successive exemplify plans for quality. Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC) curve (ROC for single exemplify plans). Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC) curve (ROC for double exemplify plans). Average qualification curve. Sampling tables. Preparing of quality control diagrams, p control diagram. C control diagram. Control charts according to measurable and non measurable characteristics (X, S, R control diyagrams). Certification
Learning Outcomes - Be able to understand standards and standardization
- Define standarts, to tell the difference between concepts of standartization
- Express definition of quality and its necessary
- Be able to understand quality control and quality insurance
- Be able to diferentiate between inspection system and quality management systems
- Be able to know and set up quality improvement techniques
- Be able to analyse quality problems and be able to comment on and be able to solve them
- Ability of using sampling planning and selecting suitable one
- Comprehending structure of control chart, its usability and kinds
- Be able to apply various statistical techniques
