Sports Pharmacy Non-Thesis Master's Program was opened within Düzce University Graduate Education Institute upon the decision taken at the Higher Education Council meeting dated 21.12.2023. The program is carried out by expert faculty members in the field. In addition, experts in the field are assigned as guest faculty members at Düzce University and receive support. The language of instruction is Turkish.

Successful students who have studied at least one semester in a university or other higher education institution's graduate programs can apply to transfer to another graduate program run by the university. In order for applications to be accepted; there must be quotas for graduate transfer students, the student must have met the student admission requirements of the graduate program to which he/she wants to transfer and must have completed at least one semester of graduate study and passed each of the courses he/she has taken.


The acceptance and adaptation of students applying for transfer are carried out in accordance with the relevant articles of Düzce University Postgraduate Education-Teaching and Examination Regulation.

The non-thesis master's program consists of at least ten courses and a term project course, with a total of 30 credits and no less than 90 ECTS. 1 ECTS is equivalent to 25.5 hours of workload. Even if the student has courses with credit transfer, he/she must take at least half of the total credit required by the program he/she is affiliated with from his/her own program. If the advisor deems it appropriate and necessary, courses can also be selected from other programs. Students must put their work related to the term project course into writing in accordance with the 'Graduate Education Institute Thesis Writing Guide'. The 'Düzce University Graduate Education-Teaching and Examination Regulation' is taken as basis in the evaluation of students' course success.


A minimum of 2.50 general grade point average must be completed for the non-thesis master's program courses. In addition, in order to be successful, he/she must pass the non-thesis master's project course approved by the advisor. The successful student is awarded a non-thesis master's diploma.

[] Professional Profile of Graduates

Graduates of this program can work in all relevant public and private institutions or organizations within the Turkish Anti-Doping Commission as doping control officers, doping testing officers, prohibited list consultants, and additionally as individual athlete health consultants, consultant pharmacists in sports federations or sports teams, and non-drug health product production consultants. In addition, pharmacists who graduate from the program will be able to provide athlete-focused pharmaceutical care services in community pharmacies.
