Master's degree with Special Education Thesis aims to train individuals with sufficient knowledge and skills in the field that will contribute to the need for increasing special education services. Special Education Master's Degree, Education of Individuals with Mental Disabled, Education of Individuals with Visually Impaired, Education of Individuals with Hearing Impaired, Education of Individuals with Special Learning Difficulties, Education of Individuals with Autism, Education of Individuals with Autism, Education of Orthopedic Disabled Individuals, Language and Speech Disorder The education of individuals with individuals with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder aims to increase the adequacy of special education experts in areas such as the education of individuals with disabilities, the education of special talented individuals and the integration/inclusion practices in the education of individuals with special needs.
The aim of this program is to increase the personal and career development of graduate students in the field of special education, and to help students follow and carry out scientific studies, and to educate expert teachers in the field of special education for the students. In addition, this program helps graduate students to produce information, educational strategies, qualified personnel and spread these services to the universal.
To provide candidates with theoretical knowledge and research skills in the field of Special Education and to provide them with a qualified profile in their field.
1-To graduate from the Faculty of Education. 2-To have at least 55 points from the ALES Verbal or Equal Weight score type * All courses are held during daytime working hours and face-to-face. **YDS, YÖKDİL or one of the equivalent foreign language exams is accepted as a language score. If there is no language score, it is taken into consideration as ‘0 (zero)’ in the calculation. ***According to the application score averages, three times as many candidates will be invited to the science exam as three times the quota of graduate students specified for the relevant field. ****The total number of students to be accepted to the programme is 15. The quota distribution according to sub-fields is as follows: -9 people, graduated from Special Education Teacher Training Programme -6 people, graduated from one of the other teaching programmes of the Faculty of Education other than Special Education Teacher Training (1 (one) year scientific preparation programme will be applied to the candidates who win within the scope of this quota).
At Düzce University, students can be exempted from some courses within the framework of the relevant legislation. If the content of the course has been taken in another institution, the student can be exempted from this course with the approval of the relevant institute after evaluating the course content.
This program is carried out at Düzce University Graduate Education Institute. In addition to the detailed acceptance criteria announced every year in the application of the program, the general acceptance criteria are also valid. The graduates of this program work either in private private education schools or in special education departments of universities.

Students who have completed the Master's Program with Special Education Thesis can be employed as a research assistant or faculty person in the faculties of education of universities and as a special education specialist in various private educational institutions.
Candidates who have successfully completed their master's degree in the thesis can study in doctoral programs in their fields or related fields, provided that they receive valid points from ALES or equivalent exams and have sufficient foreign language knowledge.
Although exam evaluation and grading may vary according to the content of the courses in the graduate programme; it is aimed at evaluating research and application skills.
Master's programs with thesis consist of at least seven courses, a seminar, other educational activities and theses, including at least 120 ECTS. In order to graduate, students need to receive 60 ECTS from the course period and 60 ECTS from the thesis period and defend their theses successfully.
