To be accepted to the doctoral program in nursing, it is required to meet the admission criteria of YÖK and Düzce University Health Sciences Institute, to have a bachelor's degree in nursing a master's degree in the Department of Nursing program or the Department of Psychiatric Nursing.

The success evaluation of doctoral students will be made according to the Düzce University Health Sciences Institute Postgraduate Education Regulation.
The evaluation of doctoral students' success will be made according to the Düzce University Health Sciences Institute Postgraduate Education Regulation. After the student has successfully completed all of his/her courses and completed a total of 120 ECTS (4 semesters) including compulsory and elective courses, he/she will be subjected to a doctoral qualification exam by a 5-person exam jury who are experts in their field. The success of the students will be evaluated objectively by taking one of the oral, written or test exams.
Students who successfully pass the doctoral qualification exam will prepare a thesis proposal suitable for their field of interest and complete their thesis studies accordingly. Students who successfully complete their thesis studies will be able to graduate from the doctoral program with the appropriate decision of the absolute majority of the thesis exam jury to which they submit their theses in writing. The course passing grade in the program and the number of Thesis Monitoring Committee will be processed as regulated in the Health Sciences Institute Regulation of our university.
