The duration of the program is 2 years, 1 year is lectures, 1 year is thesis. The language of the program is Turkish. The psychiatric nursing program is a theoretical and practical program that aims to train specialists who are proficient in national and international literature, productive, creative, curious and have achieved the qualities of a scientist.
The aim of the program is to train expert nurses who have planning, supervisory and developmental skills to make nursing services related to mental health and illnesses more effective, more visible and efficient; who are equipped with the moral, intellectual and leadership skills necessary to provide quality nursing care; and who can effectively use knowledge, skills and advanced technology within a quality service approach.
The aim is to train scientific specialist nurses who are able to communicate with different segments of society, who are able to follow scientific developments and use them in professional and academic fields, and who have questioning and investigative qualities.
Master degree
Students are accepted from candidates who have a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Nursing, School of Nursing, and School of Health Nursing Department, provided that they comply with the student admission criteria of YÖK and Düzce University Graduate Education Institute.
It is carried out in accordance with the Postgraduate Education Regulation of Düzce University Postgraduate Education Institute.
The evaluation of the success of the master's degree students will be made according to the Düzce University Postgraduate Education Regulation. The student can graduate after successfully completing all the courses, compulsory and elective courses, total ECTS courses and master's thesis.
Face to face and the language of education is Turkish.
