The history of this program is based on the Department of Economics and Administrative Programs at Düzce Vocational School founded in 1976. In 2011, he participated in SBMYO, which started teaching depending on Düzce University.

The duration of vocational training is 2 years; Our students will graduate with 122 ECTS credits at the end of 2 years. In addition to compulsory and elective courses given to students during the training period, students are required to successfully complete 30 days of industry-based training (internship).

The business professional is an intermediary working in the efficient execution of production and service activities of public and private sector enterprises and organizations. Under the supervision of the operator-manager; Plans the work order that will enable the institution to make the best use of the money, human power, tools and equipment that it owns and fulfill the tasks given by the operator in the field of accounting, research, development and public relations in the management, production and marketing studies and in determining the expenditures of the institution. checks.

The wage levels of business professionals are the information, skill, experience, etc. It is on the minimum wage, although it differs according to its characteristics. The fee can then show an increase according to the success shown.

The objectives of the program are; Basic concepts related to the economy and stock market, which are familiar with the basic principles and management functions in the field of business, who know the responsibilities of the management steps, who know the market and the characteristics of the businesses, who can work in all parts of the business, who can work individually or as a group, Who knows the importance of foreign trade in terms of country economy and businesses, who can use computer programs related to his / her profession and who can communicate effectively.

Those who successfully complete the "Business Administration" Associate Degree program are successful in the Vertical Transfer Examination opened by OSYM. International Finance, International Business, International Business, Finance, Banking and Finance, Banking and Finance, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Business Information Management, Business-Economics, Health Institutions, Business, Capital Markets, International Business and Management, Management Information Systems, and Graduate Programs. Administrative staff in the businesses they work in may also rise to managerial level.

[] Admission Requirements
The admissions of students to the programs are made according to the Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM – University entrance exam) within the framework set by the regulations of Higher Education Council (HEC). After students inform the Student Selection and Placement Center about what programs they want to study at, students are placed in the related programs according to their scores they got from the exam. Graduates of related vocational high schools can enroll in the department within the framework set by the regulations of Higher Education Council (HEC).

Foreign students are admitted to the related programs with the scores of internationally acceptable exams such as SAT, ACT or are admitted to the related programs with their high school graduation grades (Undergraduate and Graduate Programs for Foreign Students Admission Guidelines).

The admission of students of General Academic Exchange Protocol to the related programs are done within the framework of the bilateral agreements (ERASMUS, FARABI, etc) signed between Duzce University and the partner universities. Guest students may enroll into the courses in this program, if the related academic unit approves. Sufficient language knowledge is required to monitor the program.
[] Course's Contrubution To Program
To complete the available courses in the program (a total of 120 ECTS) successfully, the students have to get at least 50 points out of 100 and required to achieve 2.00 on a 4.00 weighted grade point average. To graduate from the programs students should get at least DD in all of the courses provided.Students are also required to complete the compulsory practice in the specified time.
[] Recognition of Prior Learning
Students enrolled in DU might be exempted from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. A student can be exempted from a certain course provided related course content previously received from another institution complies with that of DU, which is subject to approval and verification by the Board of faculty/graduate school/school.

Recognition of Education Abroad

DU recognises academic terms and courses studied by a student that has been involved in an exchange programme for one or two terms at the universities with which a partnership was established.

Students that are selected to avail themselves of Student Mobility for Studies under ERASMUS are obliged to draw up an education agreement with relevant ERASMUS Unit Coordination prior to the mobility term. The education agreement demonstrates the courses to be studied at the partner university the student intends to go, as well as appropriate ECTS credits.

In addition to this, students shall be asked to issue a Recognition Sheet, which refers to the equivalent of foreign courses in DU, so that the credit transfer is planned and approved.

At the end of the exchange term, the courses studied abroad are recorded and demonstrated in the transcript, together with the original course codes and names and ECTS credits. Pursuant to ERASMUS Programme and Collaboration Agreements concluded thereunto, official transcripts will quote, an abbreviation signal of ET, European Transfer, for the courses studied abroad.

[] Examinations, Assessment and Grading
For each course, the method of assessment and grading is defined "Course Information Form" in details.

Evaluation System

Students are subjected to final exam except from other exams works and  that are taken before. For each semester, at least one midterm exam is done. Other exams such as quizzes can be done without giving a concrete date. Criteria for evaluating success depends on midterm exam, homework and final exam, etc) and rates of these are published in syllabus on web. Final exams are done according to the date and place decided by University Senate. Students’ final grades for the semester, with midterm exam, final exam grades and the projects in the course of the term and semester are important elements that are valued by concerned subject’s lecturer.

The lessons that have no midterm or final exam will be decided by directorate of the concerned departments or schools and be delivered to inform Registrar’s Office. And overall of grades and projects’ results are determined by all these works and study. Final results of the Semester with evaluation criteria are decided by concerned lecturer and delivered to Registrar’s Office.

Students who completely achieved to get all lessons and meanwhile pass them are regarded successful if their Average Grade is above 2.00.

Regulation of Master’s Degree (Reg 1-Y1), With the date 10.07.2008, 26932 number that is published and became valid in Official Gazette. Efforts and works in the course of term and/or midterm exam results are evaluated.

Midterm exams are done by Departments of Institutions according to the date and place  that are decided. Efforts and works, midterm exam results, participation are evaluated according to the form that is handed by lecturer in the beginning of the term given to the head office of the department and scores of the lesson  compensates letter mark  done in the course of the semester. By the directorate of the Institute of the concerned department, with valid and legitimate excuse, students who were not able to have any of the exams, may have excuse examination.   For each lesson that is taken by students, letter marks and coeffiencies that are given  by lecturers are stated below.

In the end of the forth semester, students whose Grade Point Average is  2.50 after passing all the lessons in the curriculum are regarded as successful.



Regulation of Master’s Degree (Re2 1-Y12)  With the date 10.07.2008, 26932 number that is published and became valid in Official Gazette. Efforts, workshops and projects  in the course of term and/or midterm exam results are evaluated. Those students who fail in lesson, projects or workshops and who did not have exams and complete their projects   have makeup exam and makeup evaluation for incomplete projects.

Students who are absent from school without permission cannot benefit from makeup exams

Students who had makeup exam and project evaluation score and mark substitute to midterm exam and project result. Finals and makeup exams are decided and practiced by Directorate of Institution and Department in predetermined time and place.

Final grades are evaluated according to midterm exams, works that are done in the course of semester and participation by concerned lecturer. With a rigid and sensible excuse, students may have makeup exams by Directorate of Institution and Department’ decision. For those who could not participate to finals and makeup exams, no other makeup exam can be done.

Associate Degree Bologna Graduation Requirements:

In order to graduate from the Business Administration Program, the total number of national credits that students have to complete is 22 in total for elective courses. The amount of ECTS credits is determined to be over 30 for each semester (2.semester 32), total 122. The duration of the Business Management Program is 2 years. The student who has successfully completed all the courses listed in the curriculum and has completed all the activities listed in this Regulation and other applicable legislation. Also, for the graduation, the student must have successfully completed an internship on the 30 business day. The internship is worth 5 ECTS and is included in the transcript. AGNOs must be at least 2.00 and all other studies must be completed
