The thesis-based master's program in nursing provides nursing graduates with higher level knowledge and skills, thus training expert nurses. In addition, it contributes to the scientific development of nursing. It trains academics who will meet the teaching staff needs of undergraduate schools.

This program aims to be an institution that is internationally respected and preferred for its education and research in the field of health sciences, opens new horizons, and trains expert nurses who can lead society in changing world conditions.
Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to receive a Master of Science in Nursing degree.

Students studying in the thesis-based master's program,
• They must register for at least 7 courses and the Seminar and the Master's Thesis and complete 120 ECTS credits. In order to be successful in a course in their program, they must receive at least a CB grade from that course.
• They are required to have a general grade point average of at least 3.00 out of 4.00 from all courses in their program and to be successful in the Seminar course and the Master's Thesis Defense.
The courses taken by the student while enrolled in a graduate program at another university and passed will be counted towards the minimum course load after enrolling in the same graduate program at Düzce University, based on the student's petition, which includes the course content and transcript, and the decision of the department's academic board and the institute's board of directors. The courses taken by students participating in exchange programs at the host university are considered elective or compulsory courses.
This program is structured to develop the knowledge, skills and competence of registered students in the field of science in which they wish to specialize, and to introduce them to research areas, research techniques and current educational practices.

Nursing Doctorate Programs
Students who are studying for a master's degree prepare a thesis study in addition to courses, seminars and practical studies. The duration of study is 4 semesters (2 years). The first two semesters are lecture periods, the next two semesters are the thesis period. Students carry out the course period under the supervision of a faculty member and the thesis study under the supervision of at least one faculty member. Attendance at theoretical and practical courses is mandatory.
Must receive at least 70 success points from courses.
To have a Bachelor of Nursing degree and meet the D.U. Health Sciences Institute Postgraduate Education Application requirements.
