Public Health Master's Degree (With Thesis) Program was established with the mission of training scientists who will work to improve the health level of the society.
The program
lasts two years (four semesters). Compulsory and elective courses are offered
in the first two semesters of the program. Thesis studies are carried out in
the third and fourth semesters.

aims to provide healthcare professionals with a public health perspective and
the necessary knowledge and skills to include public health practices in their
work.

Public Health.

Candidates who will apply to the program; They must be suitable with Düzce University Postgraduate Education and Training Regulations, have a bachelor's degree from a health-related faculty, have at least 55 points from the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES), and be successful in the interview and science exam.
Postgraduate program quotas, application requirements, The
ALES score, science exam, interview and graduation grade point averages to be
used in the admission evaluation and in what proportion will be announced on
the institute website at the times determined in the academic calendar of the
University.
In order to receive a master's degree (with thesis) in the field of Public Health, the student must complete at least 120 ECTS, 60 from courses and Seminar, 60 from Master's Thesis and specialization course, and successfully complete the thesis work.
Students who have studied at Düzce University may be exempt
from some courses within the framework of certain regulations. If the content
of the course taken at another institution is compatible with the content of
the course given at Düzce University and is approved by the relevant
faculty/institute/school board of directors, the student may be exempt from
this course.
The Public Health Master's Program is a program that
provides students with the knowledge and skills required to recognize, measure,
evaluate and produce solutions to the health problems of the society. In
addition, students are also prepared for doctoral education.

Public Health Master's degree graduates can work in central
and provincial organizations affiliated with the Ministry of Health, in private
organizations such as non-governmental organizations, in secondary and tertiary
health institutions and in academic positions.
Doctorate
In the Public Health Master's Program, compulsory and
elective courses, not less than 60 credits in total, and courses including
thesis work, not less than 60 credits, are offered according to the European
Credit Transfer System. Elective courses begin to be offered starting from the
first semester. The student studying for a master's degree prepares a thesis in
addition to coursework and seminar studies. The duration of study is 4
semesters (2 years). The first two semesters are the course period, the next
two semesters are the thesis period. Attendance at classes is mandatory.
