The master programme of Insurance and Social Security is a programme whose aim is to train qualified and trained personnel in the areas of insurance and social security, which are increasing in popularity.
Our main goal is to train insurance and social security experts who have reached a sufficient level in insurance and social security institutions management, who are open to development in their field, who can communicate with the people they work with and who are committed to ethical rules by providing contemporary and universal insurance and social security institutions management education.
It is to train qualified and qualified, internationally qualified professionals with competent academic staff at the level of expertise with the knowledge, knowledge and application skills needed by private sector enterprises serving in the field of insurance, public and private sector institutions operating in the field of social security.
Those who successfully complete the program are entitled to receive a master's degree in Insurance and Social Security.

It is a programme that provides graduate education at Second Cycle level.
[] Admission Requirements
It is essential for the candidates of graduate program:
• To hold an undergraduate diploma.
• To have a grade of at least 55 in ALES (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam), 450 in GMAT, which is an internationally accredited exam or 610 in the “quantitative” part of GRE exam.
• To meet the requirements determined by the head of department and to have taken the language proficiency exam given by the Institute, unless the candidate has a certificate of YDS or any other exam accredited by YOK (Turkish Higher Education Institution).
• To be successful in the interview/ aptitude test.
• To have a reference letter, a statement of purpose showing thereas on for applying for the graduate program and competence in written and oral Turkish and/or foreign language skills.
• Exchange student applications are to be done in accordance with the admission requirements of the agreement signed between DuzceUniversity and the partner university.
• Visiting students can take the courses approved by the head of the related department.
[] Course's Contrubution To Program
Students studying master's with thesis are required:
• To take 7 courses and enroll in the Seminar course and Master’s thesis, and complete 120 ECTS. To get at least a grade of CB in order to be successful in each course of the program,
• To have 3.00 general average grade out of 4.00 on the core subjects, and are to be successful in the Seminar course and Master’s thesis defense.
[] Recognition of Prior Learning
Students enrolled in DU might be exempted from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. A student can be exempted from a certain course provided related course content previously received from another institution complies with that of DU, which is subject to approval and verification by the Board of faculty/graduate school/school.
Recognition of Education Abroad
DU recognises academic terms and courses studied by a student that has been involved in an exchange programme for one or two terms at the universities with which a partnership was established.
Students that are selected to avail themselves of Student Mobility for Studies under ERASMUS are obliged to draw up an education agreement with relevant ERASMUS Unit Coordination prior to the mobility term. The education agreement demonstrates the courses to be studied at the partner university the student intends to go, as well as appropriate ECTS credits.
In addition to this, students shall be asked to issue a Recognition Sheet, which refers to the equivalent of foreign courses in DU, so that the credit transfer is planned and approved.
At the end of the exchange term, the courses studied abroad are recorded and demonstrated in the transcript, together with the original course codes and names and ECTS credits. Pursuant to ERASMUS Programme and Collaboration Agreements concluded thereunto, official transcripts will quote, an abbreviation signal of ET, European Transfer, for the courses studied abroad.

[] Professional Profile of Graduates
Graduates can work in public institutions with KPSS points and they can work in private sector banks or insurance institutions as well as graduates can work independently by establishing their own workplaces.
[] The Upper Stage of a Transition
Students who graduate from this program in order to receive a doctorate degree can apply for doctoral education providers in Higher Education Institutions.
Program, Department Head, Assistant Department Head and Coordinator of ECTS operates through coordinated work.
Courses, each course, which is responsible for the relevant criteria specified by the Instructor and teaching methods are processed in the framework.
Students take courses in the second semester, two semesters are also Master Thesis Prepared.
Specialization courses with Master's Thesis is well taken.
Thesis students who completed the program successfully and approved by the Institute is completed.
