Department of Civil Engineering is one of the departments established within the Faculty of Engineering.
Students will graduate at the end of 8 semesters with total of 240 ECTS credits. To graduate engineers are able to follow technological and scientific developments in the field of civil, having the power of digital and academic thinking, having the power of scientific production, having advanced level of professional knowledge and skills, able to effective and efficient use of IT tools and equipment, able to learn and embrace the idea of lifelong learning, not afraid of taking responsibility, able to transform the knowledge generated in the international arena and contributing to the social and industrial benefits and acting on the awareness of ethical behavior.
Our aim is to educate engineers who can transform the information to social and industrial benefit, who can follow the developments in the global area and has the courage for competition.
To graduate civil engineers having knowledge of engineering basics and values, idealist and in this direction continuing to develop individual achievements and career; achieving engineering formation and having responsibly of career and ethics.
Civil engineering department is one of the main engineerings working with different materials and techniques. Civil engineering is accepted as the main civilization tool for the countries.

Graduates who have successfully completed their undergraduate program can apply to graduate programs in their own fields or in multidisciplinary fields provided they have the ability to take the ALES exam and obtain their English language proficiency and they are accepted if they are successful in the interview examination.
The Department of Civil Engineering has been organized as 30 local credits for the scientific preparation program, 176 local credits for undergraduate education and 240 ECTS credits.
