| Goals | The aim of this course is to enable students to explain the hydrological dynamics, physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of lotic (running water) systems, to analyze interactions between organisms and their environment in stream ecosystems, to evaluate ecological processes in these systems, and to interpret the impacts of human activities on streams from a scientific perspective. |
