| Goals | The aim is to provide the fundamental knowledge necessary to analyze, in algebraic and analytical terms, the relationships underlying macroeconomic theories in order to construct models based on macroeconomic variables. In this course, students learn the approaches developed regarding consumption, saving, investment, budget, and inflation. |
| Course Content | This course examines the analytical and mathematical foundations of microeconomic theory at an advanced level. The course covers consumer theory (preferences, utility maximization, derivation of demand functions, Slutsky decomposition), producer theory (production functions, cost minimization, profit maximization, supply function), partial and general equilibrium analysis, the fundamental theorems of welfare economics, and decision-making under uncertainty. Analytical tools such as differentiation, optimization techniques, and comparative statics are extensively employed throughout the course. |

| 1 | Analyzes basic and advanced macroeconomic theories that explain the relationships among macroeconomic variables using analytical and algebraic methods. |
| 2 | Constructs and solves macroeconomic models that explain consumption, saving, and investment behavior. |
| 3 | Formulates and evaluates the optimization problems of households and firms under budget constraints. |
| 4 | Interprets the effects of inflation, interest rates, and expectations on economic decisions within the framework of theoretical models. |
| 5 | Analyzes equilibrium conditions using static and dynamic macroeconomic models. |
| 6 | Analytically discusses the theoretical effects of macroeconomic policy instruments (monetary and fiscal policies). |
| 7 | Develops the ability to produce and interpret model-based solutions to macroeconomic problems. |
