Goals The objective of this course is to enable students to master the English terminology used in historical sources, to understand and interpret academic history texts, and to develop the ability to utilize English-language resources in this field. Additionally, the course aims to equip students with the skills to deliver historical presentations in English and to improve their academic writing abilities.
Course Content By the end of this course, students will be able to: • Define the fundamental English concepts and terms used in the field of History. • Read, analyze, and summarize historical texts in English at basic and intermediate levels. • Express historical events orally and in writing in English. • Translate concepts encountered in English sources into Turkish and evaluate their contextual meanings.
