A Doctor of Science diploma is awarded in the Anatomy Doctorate Program at Düzce University Graduate Education Institute. Students who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and the master's program in the anatomy department can apply to the doctoral program. The program graduates can; in education and research institutions, research laboratories or institutions where anatomy lessons are given in the public or private sector or which have an anatomy department; they can also work in appropriate educational research institutions abroad. Exams are conducted both practically and theoretically. One (1) midterm and one (1) final exam are held for each course during the semester. In order for students to graduate;
1) They must successfully complete 4 semesters (2 years) of anatomy doctorate education. The lower limit of success points for each course is 70%.
2) They must complete their thesis in at least 2 years.
The main purpose of the Anatomy Department of the Graduate Education Institute is to train scientists who have adopted scientific understanding, are equipped with superior talents, adhere to ethical principles, can use technology effectively, have adopted the service to the country and humanity, to provide a suitable environment for scientific research, to encourage and contribute to the conduct of scientific research, and to provide specialist training.
