[] Goals
The main mission of this program is to provide graduate teachers working in institutions affiliated to the Ministry of National Education with graduate knowledge and skills that will work in an up-to-date, academically and practically.

The aim of this course is to educate teachers who develop themselves by doing academic researches in the field of primary education.

Students who successfully complete this program are eligible to receive a Master's Degree in the Master of Science Program in Elementary Education.

This is a Second Cycle (Master’s Degree) Program
[] Admission Requirements

The general achievement score for all candidates who apply to this programs is calculated by the candidate assessment judges by taking the %50 of ALES the %25 of the CGPA of undergraduate program and the %25 of the entrance exam into account. Candidates are put in an order of achievement and accepted within the limits of the contingency.


[] Course's Contrubution To Program

The graduate students in this program must complete a minimum of 21 local credits (7 courses), a seminar course and a thesis; they must be successful in all of the courses with a minimum achievement grade of CB, must have completed 90-120 ECTS credits and have scored a minimum CGPA of 2.50/4.00 to qualify for graduation.


[] Recognition of Prior Learning
A student can only be exempt from maximum four previous elective courses in which they have been successful in being a special student, transfer from another university or another master program that they no longer have an enrollment.

This program has a minimum of 4, maximum 6 semesters of educational content providing graduate level education.

2 Students will be able to understand the relationships between theories and practices related to classroom education.
3 Be able to independently design the scientific research process related to classroom education.
4 Students will be able to produce solutions to problems related to classroom education by using quantitative and qualitative scientific research methods.
5 Determine the current problems related to classroom education field and evaluate the results achieved by developing solutions for them.
6 Criticizes the knowledge gained in the field of classroom education in line with the literature researches.
7 She manages to reflect the National/International Studies in the field of classroom education into her life.
8 Learn and apply technologies in classroom education.
9 Students will be able to apply their knowledge, skills and problem solving skills in the field of classroom education in interdisciplinary studies.
10 Have effective communication skills.
11 Applies scientific research methods and techniques as a process.

[] Professional Profile of Graduates
In the private and public schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, they are included in the classes of the primary school teachers. They can offer undergraduate and graduate courses at State and Foundation universities.
[] The Upper Stage of a Transition
Students who graduate from this program can apply to study in doctoral programs.
[] Program Structure

Program, Department Head, Assistant Department Head and Coordinator of ECTS operates through coordinated work.
Courses, each course, which is responsible for the relevant criteria specified by the Instructor and teaching methods are processed in the framework.
Students take courses in the second semester, two semesters are also Master Thesis Prepared.
Specialization courses with Master's Thesis is well taken.
Thesis students who completed the program successfully and approved by the Institute is completed.



[] Examinations, Assessment and Grading
The student must attend at least 70% of the course.
At least two success measurements are taken for each course in a semester. At the discretion of the relevant faculty member, at least one of these must be written as a written exam. In case of a single examination, the other evaluation may be done in the form of homework, project, laboratory report or similar practice.
At the end of the semester, a full examination will be held. For each course taken by the instructor of the related course, the grade is calculated by taking into account the 40% -60% of the mid-term studies and 60-40% of the final exam grade.

Students to graduate from this program; a minimum of 21 local credits, 7 courses, a seminar course and a thesis, all courses must be successful with at least CB grade, minimum 120 ECTS credits and weighted GPA must be at least 2.50 / 4.00.

The graduate is full-time and Turkish.
