To have a Bachelor's Degree or a Thesis Master's Degree Diploma for applicants who will apply to doctorate programs. Those who apply for doctorate degree with a degree of bachelor's degree must have a minimum grade of 3.0 out of 4.0 Equivalence certificate issued by the Council of Higher Education is required in foreign diplomas. Candidates must have at least 60 standard points from the ALES centered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (equally weighted points) or 60 ALES points from equivalent points declared by YÖK which are equivalent to ALES. Those who apply with a bachelor's degree diploma must have a minimum score of 80.00 from the ALES exam (Equal Weight score) and a Bachelor's degree at least 3.00 out of 4.00. The validity period of ALES is 3 years.To have received a score equivalent to at least 55 points from international foreign language exams accepted as equivalent to central foreign language exams accepted by YÖK or international foreign language exams which are equivalent by ÖSYM. The validity period of KPDS, ÜDS, YDS and e-YDS exam results is 5 years from the examination date. 50% of the ALES, 10% of the GPA (Master's Degree Average of Applicants with Master's Degree, Applicant's Graduation Average), 20% of the Science Exam and 20% of the Interview . Those who fail to take the science exam and the interview exams are considered to be unsuccessful. Candidates must have a minimum achievement level of 70 out of 100.
1. The Ph.D. program gives students the necessary skills to conduct independent research, scientific problems,
to interpret, analyze and reach new syntheses by examining the broad and deep perspective of the data.
2. The doctorate program consists of at least 240 ECTS credits including at least seven courses, seminars,
proficiency exams, thesis proposals and thesis studies for a total of twenty one credits and a minimum of
60 ECTS credits for the students who are accepted with thesis graduate degree. It is composed of at least
300 ECTS credits including 14 courses, seminar, proficiency exam, thesis proposal and dissertation study
for at least forty two credits for the students who are accepted by the undergraduate degree.
3. Up to two courses may be selected for students admitted to the graduate degree from the courses offered
at other higher education institutions approved by EABDB / EASDB in the Ph.D.
4. The thesis to be prepared at the end of the Ph.D. study should fulfill at least one of the qualifications of
applying the thesis, innovation, a new scientific method, and a known methodology.
With the Curriculum and Teaching PhD program; To develop students' knowledge, skills and understanding about the field and to train them as individuals with comprehension, interpretation and application skills of theories, models and research methods in their field of study. The aim of the course is to provide students with expertise in the fields of curriculum and instruction in the fields of curriculum development and evaluation in education, learning-teaching processes, teaching models, lifelong learning, distance learning and scientific research skills.
