Ph.D. Programme in Chemistry started education in 2014 as part of Department of Chemistry. Language of the programme is Turkish. Academic staff consists 6 professors, 5 associated professors, 3 asistant professor, and 1 research assistants. Ph.D. Programme in Chemistry has four students laboratories and eight research laboratories which have technological equipments. Therefore, there have been modern classes and laboratories for students. Ph. D.Programme in Chemistry consists of five subprogrammes as Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.
Ph.D. Programme in Chemistry program will be a
program within the framework of chemistry and chemical engineering fields. In
addition to that it will be aimed at presenting some new ideas for solution or
solution at important points such as identification of problems encountered in
other positive sciences (physics, biology, etc.), examination of new
perspectives and helping their solutions.
The aim of Ph.D. Programme in Chemistry program to develop a Ph.D.
candidate in one of subproggrammes in Chemistry such as Analytical
Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physical Chemistry and Organic
Chemistry who can conduct research on a specific subject, can apply experimental
studies related to this research in the laboratory, can evaluate the laboratory
results and present them as a scientific report.
