Composite Material Technologies, Department interdisciplinary MS Program that is currently in progress, and other graduate programs in co-operation but is different.

Composite Material Technologies interdisciplinary MS program includes scientific work as well as for composite materials, manufacturing techniques, methods and test techniques for qualitative and quantitative investigation. MS program materials science, polymer nano composites, stitching matrixes composites, metal, plastic, rubber material technology, material mechanics, composite building materials, wood, wood-plastic composites stitching composites science branches.

Here qualified, trained  in the production of composite materials such as Research and development all businesses, and the personnel and social relations, product design, Cost control, production planning, Quality control, production control, maintenance and repair, and the planning, Marketing, System planning, tool management work in.

Composite Material Technologies, the MS Program based on research and to implement national and international standards, training, and examination tend to think about, with a confident, the profession of scientific and ethical rules that applies to the human values, and academic lives with research organizations and scientists who develop themselves in breeding.

[] Objectives

Composite Material Technologies basic and up-to-date information in a comprehensive, and a functional MS education and training program. National and international standards to provide a MS training. Using existing technologies, the new technologies produce, design, and innovation with experience, with a contemporary information as in national and international competitive, sustainable development, and that clean production target for graduate students to train. In addition, application, research, and scientific ethical values, training, and social and cultural values have academic staff policy with a program is the name of the game.

Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded an Master’s Degree in Composite Materials Technology.
[] Earned Level of Qualification
It is a programme that provides graduate education at Second Cycle level.
[] Admission Requirements
It is essential for the candidates of graduate program:

•    To hold an undergraduate diploma.
•    To have a grade of at least 55 in ALES (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam), 450 in GMAT, which is an internationally accredited exam or 610 in the “quantitative” part of GRE exam.
•    To meet the requirements determined by the head of department and to have  taken the language proficiency exam given by the Institute, unless the candidate has a certificate of KPDS/UDS or any other exam accredited by YOK (Turkish Higher Education Institution).
•    To be successful in the interview/ aptitude test.
•    To have a reference letter, a statement of purpose  showing thereas on for applying  for the graduate program and competence in written and oral Turkish and/or foreign language skills.
•    Exchange student applications are to be done in accordance with the admission requirements of the agreement signed between DuzceUniversity and the partner university.
•    Visiting students can take the courses approved by the head of the related department.
[] Course's Contrubution To Program
Students studying master's with thesis are required:
• To take 7 courses and enroll in the Seminar course and Master’s thesis, and complete 120 ECTS. To get at least a grade of CB in order to be successful in each course of the program,
• To have 3.00 general average grade out of 4.00 on the core subjects, and are to be successful in the Seminar course and Master’s thesis defense.

Students registered in a Master’s program without thesis:
• Are required to take 10 courses and enroll in the Graduation Project Course, and complete 120 ECTS. (The Graduation Project Course do not have local credit and are assessed with a pass or fail).
• Are required to get at least CB grade in order to be successful in a course in their program.
• Are required to have 3.00 general average grades out of 4.00 on the core subjects, and are to be successful in the Graduate Project course.
[] Recognition of Prior Learning
Students enrolled in DU might be exempted from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. A student can be exempted from a certain course provided related course content previously received from another institution complies with that of DU, which is subject to approval and verification by the Board of faculty/graduate school/school.

Recognition of Education Abroad

DU recognises academic terms and courses studied by a student that has been involved in an exchange programme for one or two terms at the universities with which a partnership was established.

Students that are selected to avail themselves of Student Mobility for Studies under ERASMUS are obliged to draw up an education agreement with relevant ERASMUS Unit Coordination prior to the mobility term. The education agreement demonstrates the courses to be studied at the partner university the student intends to go, as well as appropriate ECTS credits.

In addition to this, students shall be asked to issue a Recognition Sheet, which refers to the equivalent of foreign courses in DU, so that the credit transfer is planned and approved.

At the end of the exchange term, the courses studied abroad are recorded and demonstrated in the transcript, together with the original course codes and names and ECTS credits. Pursuant to ERASMUS Programme and Collaboration Agreements concluded thereunto, official transcripts will quote, an abbreviation signal of ET, European Transfer, for the courses studied abroad.

Composite Material Technologies for the purpose of the program and be aware of professional responsibilities and ethical values based, thoughtful, creative and critical-thinking skills, social events with precision, and the individual with responsibility for the differences, and human rights, independent research, and scientific events that can perform a wide and deep perspective and examine that comment and the new synthesis determine steps necessary to gain access to scientists conversant with the ability to run.

Composite Material Technologies MS Program involves 21 local and 120 ECTS credits. This program includes 21 credits (minimum) courses, a seminar, and thesis work. See the graduate school regulations for more detail.
