Students will graduate at the end of 4 semesters with total of 120 ECTS credits. Department of Manufacturing Engineering is a department that aims to give selective and practical training in Manufacturing Engineering master's level in the field of engineering science and theoretical principles of the subject area,
You will be awarded, on successful completion of the programme and gain competencies, a degree of Master in Manufacturing Engineering.
Manufacturing Engineering Graduate Program's mission, research, and practice-based national and international standards, providing training, thinking and considering prone, equipped, confident, professional scientific and ethical rules based on applying human values, academic lives or research organizations in work in the developed themselves scientists to train.
Manufacturing Engineering in the field of basic and current information and functional and equipped with comprehensive educational programs provide a master's degree. National and international standards to offer a master's degree. Using existing technology, which can produce new technologies, design and innovation with experience, equipped with contemporary knowledge in the field of national and international competitive, sustainable development and clean production targets to train graduates for graduate employees. Additionally, applications, research, scientific, ethical values, education and social-cultural values principle is to have a program with academic staff.
Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded an Master’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering.

[] Admission Requirements
It is essential for the candidates of graduate program:
• To hold an undergraduate diploma.
• To have a grade of at least 55 in ALES (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam), 450 in GMAT, which is an internationally accredited exam or 610 in the “quantitative” part of GRE exam.
• To meet the requirements determined by the head of department and to have taken the language proficiency exam given by the Institute, unless the candidate has a certificate of KPDS/UDS or any other exam accredited by YOK (Turkish Higher Education Institution).
• To be successful in the interview/ aptitude test.
• To have a reference letter, a statement of purpose showing thereas on for applying for the graduate program and competence in written and oral Turkish and/or foreign language skills.
• Exchange student applications are to be done in accordance with the admission requirements of the agreement signed between DuzceUniversity and the partner university.
• Visiting students can take the courses approved by the head of the related department.
[] Course's Contrubution To Program
Students studying master's with thesis are required:
• To take 7 courses and enroll in the Seminar course and Master’s thesis, and complete 120 ECTS. To get at least a grade of CB in order to be successful in each course of the program,
• To have 3.00 general average grade out of 4.00 on the core subjects, and are to be successful in the Seminar course and Master’s thesis defense.
Students registered in a Master’s program without thesis:
• Are required to take 10 courses and enroll in the Graduation Project Course, and complete 120 ECTS. (The Graduation Project Course do not have local credit and are assessed with a pass or fail).
• Are required to get at least CB grade in order to be successful in a course in their program.
• Are required to have 3.00 general average grades out of 4.00 on the core subjects, and are to be successful in the Graduate Project course.
[] Recognition of Prior Learning
Students enrolled in DU might be exempted from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. A student can be exempted from a certain course provided related course content previously received from another institution complies with that of DU, which is subject to approval and verification by the Board of faculty/graduate school/school.
Recognition of Education Abroad
DU recognises academic terms and courses studied by a student that has been involved in an exchange programme for one or two terms at the universities with which a partnership was established.
Students that are selected to avail themselves of Student Mobility for Studies under ERASMUS are obliged to draw up an education agreement with relevant ERASMUS Unit Coordination prior to the mobility term. The education agreement demonstrates the courses to be studied at the partner university the student intends to go, as well as appropriate ECTS credits.
In addition to this, students shall be asked to issue a Recognition Sheet, which refers to the equivalent of foreign courses in DU, so that the credit transfer is planned and approved.
At the end of the exchange term, the courses studied abroad are recorded and demonstrated in the transcript, together with the original course codes and names and ECTS credits. Pursuant to ERASMUS Programme and Collaboration Agreements concluded thereunto, official transcripts will quote, an abbreviation signal of ET, European Transfer, for the courses studied abroad.

[] Graduation Requirements
In order to be successful in this course the student regarding this notice should be at least 70 out of 100. The student is failing classes, are able to register again as approved by advisor can also take other graduate courses. In addition, courses in the Graduate School upon the recommendation of the department supervisor and with the approval of the Board of Directors selected from courses offered by other higher education institutions. Not exceed nine credit courses taken in other colleges and universities how much minimum course load of 21 credits count indicated by the institute. According to local credit system, credit seminar course and thesis work is assessed as successful or unsuccessful. The student from the beginning of the third semester thesis must register each semester. A student's thesis program with a thesis on the results obtained, according to the rules of the institute concerned to write thesis writing and thesis must be defended orally before a jury. Absolute majority of the examination after the completion of the thesis jury to accept, reject or revise decision. The student's thesis at the latest within three months of a correction decision by the need to defend the thesis before the same panel again. Accept the thesis, the student no later than one month from the delivery of the thesis is director of the Institute of Science and Technology.
